New Film Manufacturer

New Film Manufacturer

There's a new film manufacturer In town....? Today we open up a mystery box with some new B&W films. Rumor has it that a new color film is on the rise and it will be the cheapest the world has ever seen. Should we carry these films in our store? Watch the video on YouTube and let us know in the comments?

I don’t shoot monochrome anymore, but I thought the 400@200 had better tonal quality. I’d definitely be interested in the color negative. I order Aurora800 and, I think, Cinestill 400D from you and they’re my two favorite color negative types. I shoot 35mm, 120, 220(reflx lab has a new Pro100(Kodak Aerocolor) in it, and 127. The only camera I shoot Kodak Gold200 in is my Medium Formats(Rollei/Yashica/Mamiya C3/C33). The only reason I do that is I can get 5 rolls cheap, but that’s only for casual shooting. If I’m shooting something more interesting than everyday, then it’s either Ektar or Porta. Be nice if they produced it in, at least, 35/120. So, if it replicates Gold200 and is even cheaper, then I’d probably keep a couple of rolls around. If it’s an improvement on Gold200, then I’d probably buy more. BTW, I love the scans you sent me, and I appreciate your prices; especially half-frame(pentax 17) and you’ll be getting my 220 stuff soon hopefully. Just got the film in….Regards and take care, Joel.
