Kodak Kodacolor Review

Kodak Kodacolor Review

Kodak Eastman is back...sort of! While Kodak Eastman has always produced both still and cinema films we all love, they have officially released their own distributed still film for the first time since 2013! Today Ava & Vanessa test out these new films to see how they look and more importantly, are they truly new films to the market?

We put them to the test against Kodak ColorPlus and Pro Image to see if they are any different. Would you shoot these? Are they truly new? You be the judge and let us know. Either way, we're stoked to have new films on the market and we think this is a great sign for the continued health of analog photography!

You’ve pretty much nailed it as far as film ID’s go. I shoot a lot of Proimage100 and my results look a lot like yours. Most reviews I’ve read agree the 200 is ColorPlus also, and from your side-by-side comparisons that appears to be true. Probably the most interesting thing going on is the business arrangement between Kodak and Kodak Alaris. If Kodak is now allowed to market directly, then I assume that next in line will be some version of their ISO400 film.
